Water Pump help

I am new to the Jeep world and I have a 2007 Wrangler. It appears my water pump is leaking and I am planning on replacing it myself. When i search online for the part it tells me I should replace the fan clutch at the same time. I am not sure this is neccesary as it looks like I have an electric fan. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.

JK has no fan clutch, try a better online site...also, there was a thread here earlier this year on a water pump replacement, might try a forum search.
Ohhhh, and welcome to the JK forum.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think it had a fan clutch but when I looked at Autozone and O'Reilly auto parts they both said to replace the the fan clutch. thanks fo the help.

If you're getting an aftermkt pump, check with FEL Pro for special JK water pump gasket--it has an integral HiTemp (O) ring imbedded on the block side of the gasket-

Can't tell you the Pt#--I'm in Minnesota at the moment-

I got my Water pump/gasket from NAPA auto pts-

Good luck
