radio antennae.
I have installed everything on my Jeep except the gears and rear locker. It
has been fun learning how to work on my Jeep and being able to help other
people work on theirs. I also started an offroad group in Dec 2012 which is
totally free to join and we plan trips just about every weekend. We have
been very successful in getting people together to offroad. We have seen
groups as big as 27 trucks and plan to continue doing our charity work for
Wounded Warriors and Toys for Tots. Back to the Jeep, its Sahara Tan, it's a
2012 Sport. I started with a Sport on purpose, there is a sense of
satisfaction to be able to take the lowest end vehicle and make it perform
as well as you can make it perform. That is why I am jealous of people who
can weld and engineer parts for their vehicle. Anyone who spends time
measuring, designing, cutting, grinding, fitting, welding a part for their
Jeep deserves to win. Anyone with 60000 extra dollars can have a Jeep built,
not just anyone can build one.

Story:
This is Dirty Gerty. She is a 2012 JKU. I purchased her brand new in October of 2011. I started saving up and started building her in April of 2012. Things have slowed with the addition of our little man, but I still drive her daily. I have emptied every pocket, and this is where she is today. Thanks for looking! Cheers!
I am sure I am leaving out some smaller mods and accessories, but here is what I can think of.

Story:
This is my 2008 JKR that I'm submitting to JKOTM. I started in Jeeps when my Dad bought his 1999 XJ with the upcountry option brand new and he still has it with 270,xxx miles with no rebuilds. That thing has taken my family everywhere and I decided that I wanted that out of my vehicle too so I started with a 1994 YJ which I quickly decided wasn't for me because of the rough ride and bazooka holes and then bought a TJ which I kept for about two years until I saw the new JK and knew that I just had to have it. I saved up working on Dodge Neons and other various cars doing transmissions and other odd jobs until I had the cash and then flew down to Raleigh to get it and drove it up to DC and then home with my mother on a road trip. I left it stock for 2 years to pay it off and then bought a RC stubby hybrid bumper and XRC 8 with synthetic line to make the front more appealing and lose that stupid plastic bumper. It has taken me everywhere I wanted to go including Moab as a stock Rubi. While there I broke an inner shaft and had to 3-wheel out of rusty nail (I know, I know, experienced drivers only but hey, I'm young and dumb). It's also taken me to many mines and ghost towns which are my true passions, many in CO, some in other places. I apologize I have no up to date pictures of the Jeep but I just wanted to submit a stock form one and others showing where it has taken me and my favorite state to wheel/live in, CO. Hope you enjoyed reading about it and enjoy the pictures even more. Future upgrades I want to do include nemesis rockers and eventually replace my clockspring (I'll be doing a write up by the end of March). Best of luck to everyone!
Mods:
The other upgrades I've done include:
~16/59 Unlimited Springs which keep the factory rake but raise me just high enough (1.5" all around)
~255/80/17 KM2s (Love these in all terrain)
~Superchips Flashcal
~KC Apollo Pro Driving Lights/Smittybilt Light Tab Mounts (Had to rewire and make homemade gaskets to protect the paint)
~2014 JKR Wheels with the newer style TPMS
There it is
It took some work but we got another great group for this month!
