And the waiting begins...

I FINALLY found a JK that was close enough to what I was looking for I was gonna buy it. The dealer sells it before I get there . On the plus side, they ordered me one and are gonna sell it to me for invoice price. Here are the specs:

-Wrangler X, 24s package
-Red Rock Crystal Pearl
-Side Air Bags
-Power Convenience
-Fog Lamps
-Dual Tops
-Limited Slip Rear Differential
-Tow Hooks

After I get it, I plan to add Rugged Ridge side steps and a receiver hitch. Didn't wanna pay Chrysler's inflated prices for side steps or a hitch. At some point I will replace the front bumper, maybe the rear bumper, and add a winch, but that will be a while off lol.

Congratulations!
If it's a 2 door it shouldn't take took long to get. Mine took 5 weeks.

SWEET! that's what I was hoping and thinking from what I've read about the 4 doors in such high demand over the projections... I ordered mine on Monday, and I'm hoping to be in it soon after Thanksgiving.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't have much time to play being in grad school right now . I am originally from the Houston area as well (Hempstead if you know where that is). My family has a 300 acre ranch in Waller County where I hope to get my Jeep dirty for the first time. Lots of sand when it is dry, and lots of mud when it rains!

Yeah, I know Hempstead. I am familiar with that entire area up there. 300 acre ranch sounds like fun.

Sometime when you make it down, you should run over to Spring Creek Off Road Park- lots of fun

It might be a bit late now since you have an order in... but did you check out the Chrysler/Jeep dealership in Georgetown? They seemed to have a decent stock of 4dr's, not sure on the 2drs though.

I am sure I checked there at some point online. I am looking for a 2 door though, and they seem less plentiful everywhere. While I was at the dealer in Spring where I placed the order, they searched out to 700 miles and couldn't find what I was looking for. I think they just aren't making many Jeeps with the Red Rock paint. Oh well, since I got to order it I was able to include a few of the less common options.
