I have a 08 manual 3.8 with 3.73 with 35" tires and when im on the highway going 75 im doing about 2200-2300 rpm i couldnt imagine 4.88. Around the city it is a little slower but not bad. I will probably gear to a 4.56 and run a little bit bigger tire after my current ones are worn

OP, read the Lift Sticky's they answer all of your questions.
I'm running 35's on the RK 2.5" max travel. I have a sport with 3.73's and the 2012 with the 3.6l.
It's a great starting point and depending on your usage, you can do most things with everything else stock. With only a few more additions it's a great stopping point as well.
I've done Elephant Hill with no lift and 33's and touched on a few things. I ran it again this year with the lift and 35's and it was a blast.
Next step for me is regearing to probably 4.56's.
