UCF Aluminum Trail Doors for Jeep JK

I wanted to point out a new product that we recently released.

UCF Jeep JK Aluminum Trail Doors are the perfect way for JK owners with full hard-doors to get that half-door look and feel without breaking the bank. They are also very light-weight at less than 25lbs per set. These are perfect for the JK owner looking for some protection from trail debris, mud or other hazards while off-road.

These doors are fabricated from high-strength 1/8" 5052-H32 aluminum. This alloy has an ultimate tensile strength of 32,000 psi. The doors are CNC laser cut and formed with high-preceision forming machines to create a beautiful finished product. The door panel is rolled to the radius of the JK tub for a nice body line at the perimeter. The roll in the upper u-channel is achieved on a custom made radius tool to produce a very smooth top surface for an arm rest. We include Bestop latches with a key and all hardware require to install the doors. Please call us for more information!

Here is a link to the front doors:

This will take you to the rear doors:

Nice piece of gear.
Do you get any flex across the panel not having an internal structure?

Not that we've observed. It's fairly thick material and it is braced along top and bottom from front to back. The fact that it is rolled from top to bottom also adds some rigidity.

One small comment...on your web page for JK door, in the description - might want to correct this:

These are perfect for the TJ owner looking for some protection from trail debris, mud or other hazards while off-road.

I too like this. Like others I would like to know if they are paintable and if they can take a soft upper?

I would imagine anything is paintable. It doesn't look like it's set up to accept uppers.
