Has anyone had any expirience with a TrekTop NX? Mine is a pain in the butt. Wish I still had my old top.

Why is it a pain in the butt? Besides being very tight when I put it on I haven't had any problems.

trek top

Very tight indeed. Almost broke the zippers trying to get the thing on. It took like 2 hours to put it back on, unless I'm doing something wrong. Had to silicone the seams because when I first installed it, they stretched to where you could see daylight through them.

pretty sure trektop themselves say to not install below 75 degrees. I plan on selling my factory soft top and getting the trektop NX

I had to put a screwdriver through the hole in the zipper as I installed mine in the fall. It was sunny but not hot enough to relax the material as much as it would have in the summer. I didn't have any issues with seams either. Did you let it sit in the sun for a couple hours before installing?

trek top

I installed mine in ninety degree heat. Don't make the same mistake I did and get rid of your stock top. Get a replacement top, you'll be better off with it.

I absolutely love my NX. It was a PITA putting it on in the fall, but the look, less wind noise, and for me, the tinted windows and sunrider option made it well worth it. However, I've never taken it off, lol.

Does the 2013 fit the older Jeeps, like 07 and 08? Did it come with tinted windows and sunrider?

From the looks of it, I don't think it would. There was one though, that I remember someone saying if you flip the brackets, it will work. Not sure if it's that one.

I have the NX, put it on during a 70 degree sunny day, I follow3d someones post on here as well as the factory directions and had no problem. I took it off and on once a week last summer...leaving the sunrider on for the real hot days. I love the look and versatility. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I wonder if the jeep swag brackets are the ones that would fit upside down? http://www.jeepswag.com/jackmount/index.html

just called Brian at jeepswag, it's definitely not his mount that can go upside down.
