Trailer Wiring Harness

I have a hitch on order, but did not order a wiring harness. All I need is the 4 pin, can I use a universal type or do a need the harness from Mopar? Anyone do this?

On the first JK I had I went to a place called Leonard Truck Accessories and they installed one for me. I didn't think to ask before the install was done and asked afterwards and found out he had spliced the wires to do the wire up. I wasn't happy but what could I do, it cost $30 versus I think like $120 from the dealer. Now with the JK Unlimited, I am waiting for the quick connect wiring kit so I don't have to splice any wires.

You can splice the wires if you want to, I got one at the jeep dealer for $30 and it just plug's into the left tail light. I didnt want to splice.

Are these available now? When I did the first JK back in March, they told me the plug in ones were like $120 so I went to LTA and got the other one. If this is so I need to call and order me one.
