Trail Rated Badge Missing

Hi Guys ! Just bought a 2014 model JK Unlimited Rubicon 2.8 L Diesel European version ! Question is : Why doesn't it have a "Trail Rated" badge on ?
If anyone knows the reason why please share ! Thanks a lot
BTW, great community !

Do you have 4 lo? I understand that this is what's required to be considered "Trail Rated".

I asked the same question at a dealership in NE Florida. The sales guy told me they were all 'trail rated' but they only installed the badge on one side (opposite the antenna) on Sport-X models and above. He said he could get all the badges anyone wanted and they were just emblems stuck with two sided tape.

That being said... With yours being a rubicon I would assume you should have the badge also.

Talk to your dealer. Trail Rated is merely a marketing ploy; it's nothing more than an indicator that your vehicle is a 4x4. "Trail Rated" simply might not be a marketing program used in your area, country, etc., or they forgot to slap the badge on.

Do Euro Jeeps have them? Perhaps Romanian market models don't.

Based on what I am seeing on the Jeep website for the Romanian market, it does not. Take a look:

Guys ! Thanks a lot for your answers ! I was not affected by the fact it's not there, it was just curiosity and question mark about something else missing too and the lack of badge just showing that !!
Guess it's just a different market thing !

Not entirely, the trail rated badge is earned when the vehicle can traverse the rubicon trail unassisted. It is a marketing point that is probably lost in Europe, but it's a qualification none the less

Yes you are right ! But that doesn't mean that all vehicles coming out the production line go and get tested on the Rubicon, so considering that, my car being a Rubicon I was wondering if it has something else missing like an option add on or something !

All jeeps that come off the line are subjected to the rubicon trail test, even the brand new Cherokee. Like I said, in addition to it being a marketing point it is probably lost for the European market, that said I don't know why it would be considering jeep is selling an actual rubicon overseas. I doubt there are many Europeans that know what the rubicon trail is- American geography is lost on most.

You can get a trail rated badge on ten internet shipped internationally for less than $15-20USD
