Hi, i am new to my new Wrangler Unlimited but I use to drive 2008/2011 Grand Cherokee's before and both without this badge. Does this Trail Rated badge getting installed only on some models with stiffer suspension etc? Or it is just standard thing on any Wrangler now?
Iím probably going to catch hell for this but I happen to like the badge. As a matter of fact I always order an extra badge so I have one each side for all my Jeeps that came with them. Have to balance things out you know.
Trail rated vehicles are supposed to include 4x4 transfer case with Low range, skid plates, and water fording capability (not sure min depth). My GC has all but skid plates. A GC with AWD wouldn't be trail rated. All Wranglers are trail rated because all models meet the criteria.
All Wranglers are "Trail Rated." That being said, the badge and $2.50 will get you on any subway in NYC.
Ok, thanks. I am really in love with my JKU but I prefer to have balance between dirt/rocks driving oriented car and used daily SUV. I hate tendency of using FWD/CVT in modern SUV's same time. I tried 2013 Nissan Pathfinder and I think it is total cra. since that.

Ok you guys had your fun now cool it with the transvestite, women with man parts etc. jokes. If another one pops up I’m going to remove all related posts and have a special surprise for the person who posts another one. Thanks.
Edit: I changed my mind, I’m removing them now. Please no more.
