TJ vs JK Frame Width? (outside to outside)

Does anyone have the outside dimensions for a JK. Building a custom bumper and was wondering if I trade in my 06 Rubicon for a 2010 JK if I would be able to transfer the bumper or would I need to Mod it. Thanx in advance, Djleathal7.

The front frame is aprox. 33" outside dimension, The rear is aprox. 46".
I think they are setup differently than your TJ and would require much modification to change over.

Alright I need help... I am going or thinking about fitting a TJ Mopar rock crawler bumper onto my JK. What I need is the measurements from a TJ. I need the front bumper frame widths. Pictures would help also. Thank you my fellow Jeepers!

I have built bumpers for both models front and rear andy they are completely different on how they mount. If you are going to use a tj bumper on a jk all you need to do is drill 8 holes in the bumper for the bolt mounts or weld some bolts to the back side. The JK bumper mounts where the tow hooks are on the factory bumper. You should be able to adapt it with a torch and welder.

Thanks. Here is the rear. The rear ones are much easier to build. We did my buddies tj in about 30 min.
