Tires & wheels

Question about older jeep and newer wheel and tires.

I know the 2004 Jeep came with 235 75R/15 tires and of course a 15 inch wheel.

College kid (friend) has a chance to get some P225/75R16 tires and wheels off a newer 2013 Jeep.

The million dollar question I was asked and am not sure of - will the newer 16 tire and wheel fit her older (2004) Jeep ?

TJ's have a 5x4.5 bolt pattern while JK's have a 5x5. You'll need adapters.

Just to add a bit more info, the í04 Rubiconís came with 16-inch wheels but of course like tyvanwie said, different bolt pattern.
