Tire Selection?

I am still in college and i am looking for a tire that is has decent mileage and it still performs well in the mud i don't do anything very serious. I am a weekend wheeler and am more worried about getting out of the all terrain category but still having decent wear.

Check CL for people upgrading their tires. Never know what kind of deal you can get.

For cheaper tires with good quality I like Khumos. Has sets on sports cars and their MT gets good reviews.

I run Cooper Discovery tires on my CJ and are one of the best tires I have had for both on and off road.

Don't forget Hankook Dynapros--they're very close to advertised size and you can get them in load range "D" for 33" MTs-

I don't recall the size that you want, but in my area, 33" Terra grapplers are $238 at Discount Tire.

Mine are Dynapro LT295/75x16 MTs RT03 and they ran about $250/ea several years ago-

Sears sells em/Hankook sells em/Discount tire sells em and you have to know the exact size--check the vendors on this forum !

JCWhitney sells em--there are prices all over de place-

Good luck
