Tire Pressure Monitor

How does it work? If I get new wheels and tires, will I need to do anything to the new wheels to work with the monitor?

you would have to have your sensors swapped from the old wheels to the new wheels.

You can get new sensors if you want to keep your stock wheels intact.
New sensors from the dealer are over $60 each x 5 (the spare has one too!)
I got them from Amazon for $150 for 5 shipped
P.S. they are brand specific so make sure they are compatible!!!

thats true too.. your stockers would be easier to sell with the sensors, plus you could get a little bit more money for them. i dont know if you'd get $150 more tho...

Most lifted JKers I know leave their TPMS off the new wheels. The shops do charge an extra $10-$20 per wheel to switch them over.
My stock wheels are 16x7 steel, so I'd be lucky to get $1 from a recycling shop!!

You can still sell your stock wheels individually!
My spare was stolen and my thoughts now are to sell the remaining four separately to other people that have been ripped off as-well.
