"Texas Blue Bonnie" Build... in North Dakota...

I know there's a build specific section but felt the jk guys would appreciate it more.

Long story short- after being told i was stationed in North Dakota, i decided to make a little trip of it, so i loaded up the XJ and hit the road, about 50 miles out of town she (Sheila) blew a head gasket. So i turned around went home and bought Bonnie, my 2009 2 door jk.

Stock

Made it to ND...

CAI

Andddd Borla cat back exhaust

New bumper- painted "two tone". Pre runner hoop blue, base black

Then went with a 3" BDS suspension lift

Went wwheeling with a fellow forum member and some of his buddies!!

But then it was back to work...

Next up was my warn 9.5cti that i had originally ordered for my XJ

Finally saved my $$$ and was soooo sick and tired of the stock wheels and tires, so i placed my order for my 35x12.5 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZs and procomp rock crawler wheels.

And thats where she sits today. Hope yall enjoyed. But theres more to come!!!

My pocket book is like yours. It usually says slow to no mods.

Yeah, the pay sucks and the hours are long; but remember we appreciate your service. Especially those of us that have walked that line too. Thanks!

THANKS for your Service!

I like the way you painted your front bumper. As for mods.. yeah, my wallet just laughs at me when I go to get $$ out for mods! Thus I'm very slow as well. On the bright side, I have found that having to take my time really does give me the miles/time to understand what I really want/need rather then what I "think" I want. So, it works out well.
