Tereflex 2.5 BB v. Skyjacker 2.5 regular.
I am lift ignorant, but i know that I want to run 33's and don't need/want 3"/4" of lift to do so. I have been wondering what all your expert opinions would be in regards to these two lifts. I do love to go off road and hills and mud seem to be the trails of choice around here, not too much rocks and crawling that I have seen so far, I could be wrong about that as well...
Please post your views, thanks in advance.

I asked a similar question this morning.A few of the guys recommended the Teraflex 2.5''BB with shocks. They said it's a great lift kit.So that's what I ordered this morning.

With the Tera, you get the poly spacers that use your stock springs. With the Skyjacker you get longer coil springs instead of the spacers. Really a matter of personal choice. I like my Skyjacker and it performs well. I have installed the Tera on a couple of friends Jeeps and they like it.

So spacers v. new springs. Is this essentially the only difference?
2. wouldn't you then get more articulation with new springs? 3. Would the new springs change the road handling/feel? How so?

2. Yes and no. The Tera is pushing your spring to the axle 2.5 inches with the spacer. Basically the same as longer springs. I think I get pretty great articulation on the rocks with my Skyjacker, but the Tera's perform well with the stock springs also. 3. Nope, my ride seemed factory, just higher. I also added 3/4" spacers up front with my new springs to level the rake of the Jeep. Hope that helps, they both perform well. I would never buy control arms from either as I think they are weak compared to a lot of other companies.

I have the Skyjacker lift. It was easy to install and the ride seems very close to factory. However...DO NOT waste your money on the front track bar relocation bracket that Skyjacker puts out. It is crap!

I thought the Skyjacker kit came with a rear not front track bar bracket? Anyone have/using it? Is it frame mounted? Thinking hard about this kit...

I run the Skyjacker with the rear trackbar relocation bracket. It is mounted axle side. No problems to date with it.

Just put a 1" BL on it and call it good. Keeps your stock ride and cheap. Either a BB or a BL will give you what you want.

If you are concerned about the ride, you can get adjustable shocks. The Rancho 9000's are working great with my Skyjacker coils.

What is BB and what is BL? I think it is referring to spacer lifts, but maybe i am wrong.
