I think if you plasti-dipped something on your Jeep you would have more votes and a bigger following. Maybe start a post "I plasti-dipped my headlights" or something. Seriously though build is coming along nicely.

Hey I can't fault you for dropping in and snooping around. I wish I had some more updates for you guys but I don't. I have been eyeing Teraflex's new bolt on accessory mount for a Hi Lift jack, CB antenna, and RotaPax fuel pack:

http://www.northridge4x4.com/shop/te...-jack-cb-mount

and then I start thinking on how I need a new rear bumper, a winch, skids, a unicorn, rear drive shaft, and a renewal on my 1 year membership here!....... and THEN I start thinking of how much work my father and I still have to do on the XJ.....I'm losing my mind slowly

I was looking into the Tera tire mount as a future indulgence. Is it as solid as it looks? When you open and close the door does it feel easier like the weight is shifted more to the new hinge?

Honestly the hinge is pure beef. Before I put the spare tire on the hinge would easily hold the door open in whatever position I put it in even with my Jeep facing downhill. The door has absolutely no sag and there's no rattle. I'd feel confident with a 37 inch tire on there.
