When I won in 2012 it was a tie, and we had to have a tie breaker....I had no nails left.

What are waiting for, get those fenders mounted.

-40F with windchill today and that just puts my motivation for the next month down the drain. No, honestly I'm just dreading the install.

I'm just down the road, about an hour....so I get the cold thing.

Doing my Cloaks, in the driveway, on a nice sunny warm summer day was the way to do it.

X10,000. The cold can shove it, especially when like you said -40. At least the high is -8 without windchill here. Bah. What's next on the build?

I need to regear, 5.13s or 4.88s, and I'd like to build up my 30. Been kicking around the idea of Poison Spyder BFH rear bumper also. Also I want to focus on making as many off-road trips as possible this spring and maybe actually starting back up on my dads XJ to try to get that thing all squared away.

So looks like my next "mod" will be a new battery. This ones slowly crapping out on me and starting to give me trouble. Any recommendations? Looked into the optima yellowtop but I was reading that the quality has gone down? Also I looked into the sears batteries because everyone was raving about the diehard platinum but they've changed it from that awesome 8 year warranty down to a 4 year warranty. Thanks for the help.

Sams club has some awesome batteries. Run of the mill energizer but I've used the one I have now for 6 years in 3 different Wranglers. Winches, lights, you name it. And many, many cold starts. I highly reccomended taking a look. I think it's a 10 year prorated warranty too

Thanks for the suggestions on batteries. I went with the Sears DieHard Advanced Gold AGM Battery, deep cycle, 775 CCA, and a 3 year warranty. Paid $154.99 for it and Sears wanted $20 to install it....I laughed and did it in the parking lot.

When I bought my Platinum they told me it was $20 to install and there'd be a half hour wait. I drove 30 miles home and replaced it myself faster than they would have even gotten to it. Took the old back the next time I was up that way.

They definately need to change that because there's plenty of other auto stores with free install.

My fault! It's actually 775 CCA and I corrected it in the original post.

Haven't had the time , trying to get a day to set aside a solid 6 hours. Hoping it won't take that long but we will find out.
