Go for it. I got my from Synergy, everything pre-bent/cut/coped, makes for a pretty easy install (so far.) They've got one for TJ's also:

Just had a quick lunch break, time to get back to it, hopefully I'll finish welding today before the rain gets here, then painting tomorrow.
Edit:
Scrolling through the forum today...why the hell do people like the ACE sliders so damn much?? If you say price, you win. If you say anything else, those have got to be the ugliest, non-functioning pieces of dog turd I've ever seen. Seriously...rock sliders that take away 6" of ground clearance?

Gussets welded in. About time for paint, going to wait on tomorrow for that, expecting rain in a little bit.
Also, being that I have to repaint the factory roll bars, I'm going to go ahead and delete the rear seat for good. Cutting out unsightly seatbelt mounts, ect. Will leave the plates in the floor for tie down points.

I plan to do mine next month. I am hoping to get the prep work done in one weekend, put the carpets in a for a week and then lay down the liner the next weekend. Have you been using the heat gun and chisel method?

Pretty much, heat gun/paint scraper. I think the thin edge on the scraper helps get under the epoxy a bit better, 1" wide is the best, tried wider and it doesn't peel it off as well. You may have a good idea doing it in two weekends if it's your daily driver. The bed liner needs a good 24 hours to cure or it will peel, I'm fortunate enough to have bus and subway service for anything I need to do during the week so I'm taking my time considering this project also includes welding in a full roll cage. I'm planning on giving my bed liner a solid 3 days of dry time to lean on the side of caution.

Pretty much finished! Gotta say I'm really pleased with how this came out. A few ugly welds trying to run around the tube, but it's damn sure sturdy. Still have a bit of paint left, just a few spots the primer is showing through, ran out of the TEN cans of Mopar stone white I bought
Enjoy!!

That roll cage really looks good and sturdy to boot. Should help in the pucker factor when in an off camber situation. Is this the last of your major mods?

Thanks John. It's pretty close to "finished." I still have a basement full of parts, but it's a lot of odds and ends. I am planning to build a set of RJ60's this winter, but I won't be torn apart long for that. It should be a fun "learn-me-something" project as I haven't set up gears before. Planning on buying the housings from Currie with C's welded on the front, WMS setup for both, then weld the brackets on and doing gears, lockers, axle shafts, ect myself.

Definitely, I need to get a TIG welder, it's really hard to get the MIG to look pretty when you're tracing beads around tubing, constant wire feed speed makes it really difficult. Not gonna lie, I've got a few ugly spots but penetration is very good, should be sturdy as hell.

ArticRubi, I commend you for taking on such a huge project and learning as you go. As for the welds, don’t worry too much about how they look just as long as you have the penetration like you do. You’re right about welding tubing; it’s really hard for me too. Sometimes I will lose track of the bead and after that happens, well…
God I wish I were younger, had the time and money to do a project similar to yours but alas, it’s not to be. Anyhow I’m enjoying watching your Jeep evolve along with some of the other builds on this forum.

After paying for a shop to setup my gears I decided very quickly I'd better start stepping up and doing the work that I found intimidating. I'm fortunate enough to live where subway and bus service can take me anywhere I need to go minus the occasional out of town trip, so if I'm not up and running its not the end of the world. Once I accepted that I quit caring so much whether or not I screwed a project up

I just pop in the iPod and tune out all the crazies Unfortunately I've decided not to do my trip out west this summer, but one is coming in the next year or two, and OR is definitely on my list. Actually, OR is on my list of "states I might like to move to" so I want to check it out while I'm out there.
