SuperChip 3875 FlashPAQ

I recently purchased a 2nd Jeep Rubicon (used). It has a SuperChip 3875 FlashPAQ with the Jeep. It has been connected once already, by the original owner. But was removed and stored in a box. It was not "uninstalled" before taking it out of the system.

My questions relate to attaching it to the vehicle. Since it's already been installed once, I assume I can just plug it in, and it's ready to go. Since it came with the vehicle, I'm not really interested in the pros or mostly cons with one of these. I have one, so want to go from there.

1) Are there any gotchas to consider, using this programmer?
2) Is there a way to check if it was properly "uninstalled".
3) Is it like other programmers that must be "uninstalled" before taking to a dealer, to avoid being unable to reinstall?

Thanks
