I actually don't even use a top for most of the summer. I have a mesh top that I keep on all year that covers the passenger area. I drop my top and I won't put it up unless I have to drive in the rain. The mesh top keeps the sun from being so strong and getting too hot.
Soft top and topless is pretty much the same thing. Only difference is when topless they won't cut your soft top to take your stuff, even when the doors are unlocked.
I've had one for several months. I took it off for the winter and put the freedom tops back on for the nasty weather. I love mine. It fits great, doesn't leak a bit. And opens and closes as easily as advertised. Very convenient.
Got mine yesterday and installed it today, only issue was one screw that goes on from the underside, had to loosen everything to get it to install. I love it!! Do I really need the side straps when it is open, wont the wind hold it open?
