My 08 sun visors are practically useless. has anyone replaced em? I've checked out the junkyard, but nothing I've come across seems to be the right length to catch the clip part.

the bigger the better, too, skin cancer and i have already met, and I'd just as soon not have to sunblock up every time I get in my jeep! Not to mention the whole "needing granny shades" just to see, that's a real mood killer lol...

If I remember correctly I believe the ’09 visors were an improvement over the previous years of the JKs. I was going to get a set for my ’08 but for some reason didn’t. Can’t remember why but I think because they were awfully expensive. Anyhow, you might want to check into those.

What about going to a window tint place and have them tint the top part of the windshield? There are tints out there that block UV and IR light without being too dark visually. I had that type of tint on my last car and it was very good. Not too dark yet the summer sun could be beating down on me and I'd hardly feel the heat... just a little bit. Kept the car cooler too.

Do an internet search for "Solar Window Tint"

I'm seriously not trying to be a wise-a**, but why not just drop $15 on Sun Visor extenders if it bothers you?

Mine don't block the sun at certain times of day and from the side, but if it truly bothered me, then I'd order a set of extenders online; problem solved.
