the hole is smaller inside the recess. it will go in, just takes some pushing and twisting. this conversation sounds real bad...

I just did this swap and it was a PITA. There is a flat spring that collapses when you remove the visor. I had to remove the arm from the truck and once I did, the first one took about 10 minutes but the second one was easier.

Next time, I'd just remove the damn stickers.

peel stickers and use GOO GONE!

First thing I did when I took posession, was to peel those stickers off.

Most of it came off, then for the rest I just rubbed some GOO GONE on a paper towel rubbed it on the visor and off it came.

I finished off with a wet rag to make sure all the GOO GONE was gone!

i would be very interested to know how you got it back on. i just did the same things on my wife's jeep and until i get this resolved...well...you know.
