Stupid Question...

It's a dumb one but I'll ask it. Can you get the "power" package (power windows, locks, etc) for the Rubicon?

In 09 it was an option on the 2dr but included in the 4dr

I don't think it's an option for the Rubicon, I think it's mandatory!!!

Just because I think doesn't mean it's true

Yeah, if you got to the Jeep site and build one out, the auto package is extra, but it's an option. Go to the site and click Build My Own.

On the 2dr Rubi it's $585. I'm guessin' since it's not list on the 4dr, that it's standard. Hope that helps...

Slightly off topic, but after having done so, I'll never own another 4 door anything that doesn't have power door locks.

I looking to buy and it's standard on a 4-door Rubi whether you get the 6sd or auto trans.

I think the exception to this is if you go with the half doors like I did. I don't bother locking my doors because I don't keep ANYTHING inside my JK that's worth stealing and if anyone wants to check, they don't have to go through the hassle of slicing up my windows to check.

I wish I would have bought the power group, it's starting to get old unlocking doors for other people...

They will anyway. It's not like the zippers are on the outside or anything anyways.

That's why I want full steel doors with the power group... I've got 3 little boys and it'd be horrible locking and unlocking all those doors.

Also, although I loved my half doors in my YJ it was a pain when my drivers window zipper broke. I ended up sewing it shut and had to pull up farther to open the door at drive thrus.

And yeah I NEVER kept anything of value in my Jeep, and never locked the doors for fear that they'd slash the top. I did get broken into once and all they got was an umbrella and a box of opened tic tacs!
