On that stubby antenna does that affect the reception of the satellite radio or anything? I don't know much about it.

I wouldnít think so as the satellite radio has its own dedicated antenna.

I figured I was probably just missing it, or it was some product I'm unfamiliar with. Reception with no antenna is going to be atrocious...there's nothing to capture the signal.

Maybe it has some kind of internal antenna or hidden one for a nice clean look. Not sure. My M3 doesnt have an external antenna either and reception is fine.

Your M3 has its antenna in the rear window, the same place for defrost and keyfob antenna, a little different. This one called Hidden Antenna by antena X. You basically remove stock one and plug hole with another trail rated badge. Hidden antenna gets installed somwhere hidden (roll bar etc) I am asking if anyone here has this setup and how is the reception. image.jpg

Picked one of those AntennaX up today that you all have been raving about. Mine purpose for buying it is because I'm tired of my stock antenna bouncing off my damn snorkel.
