I just got one from quadratec. I like the way it looks. I just put it on the other day and have only been doing local driving back and forth to work. So far reception seems to be the same as the stock antenna.

I've got the shorty Antenna-X on mine. Looks about as tall as the one pictured above, but thicker and semi=flexible rubber. I live in a VERY hilly area, and there are occasional reception issues but it's pretty minor and not much worse than the factory antenna. I haven't found a drawback yet.

Edit: Yeah, it's the one posted just above. Good timing.

x2 on Antenna x,

I hardly use fm but when I do the antenna still works fine, and prevents damage to the A pillar

Antenna X here too. Works just fine. I mostly listen to AM sports never had a prob. Also, it seems like I saw a post where someone had made their stock antenna into a stubby. Somehow they popped the ball off of the top, trimmed it down and replaced the ball. Sounds pretty cool, I couldn't find the post when I searched though...

why does the 6" antenna more expensive then the longer antenna seems like it should be less do to less materials unless they increased the price based on popularity wich is a crappy thing to do.

x1 more on the Antenna-X. no issues at all with reception. it's fairly flexible too, won't snag.

AntennaX was the first thing I bought for my Jeep off this site. Very satisfied with it. If anything the reception is a little better on certain stations I listen to.

Any experience with hidden antenna? How is the reception if you got one?
