stock tires (32") with 4" inch lift

Beating a dead horse….
Currently in the works on buying an 07 sahara wrangler from my buddy. The jeep’s currently riding with a pro comp 4” lift kit (stage 2 possibly) that included all the arms, springs shocks the steering bars on the front the mounts on the shocks in the back along with 35” tires, & bilstein stabilizers. He is planning on keeping the 35” tires and throwing the factory 32” tires back on.

My question is if I can still drive the jeep without causing strain on the factory components-control arms, driveshaft, yoke, etc? I did a few searches on the web, but getting mixed answers. I’m not planning on doing any rock-crawling or major off-roading anytime soon. Just driving it on the street and snow for the time being. If the other suspension components will be fine, I’ll be alright looking like an idiot with factory tires on 4” lift for the time being til I can get some taller tires.

again sorry for bringing up this topic but am lost and would greatly appreciate help! thanks in advance!

Just drive sanely/good sense and it should be OK, unless he has changed the diff-gear ratios--then trouble !

its running 4.10 gears with manual tranny from what my buddy informed me. will that be an issue? thanks for your help btw.

Don't see any problems except trying to maintain 70mph on the freeway--

That's actually the way the jeep was issued--4,10/32" tires/manual, the lift will just makeit a little swingin in the wind and turns--

Suptoyou-I'd never doit with stock tires though-

yea i know. i am breaking one of my top rules. however i'll be looking it over for any rust (aside form the lift is the other main concern) and he's taken good care of it plus i can ask him on the vehicle history and such.

Yeah, if it's a real good deal and you know the jeeps been taken care of--not too many miles/all TSRs/recalls been done--

Try to talk him out of the 35's and you'll probably have the speedo need recal anyway-
