starter problems

helpful hints on starter replacement on jk,is there a problem of short life?

I had mine replaced under warranty, was making a horrible grinding sound before it would start.
its like $100 for a new one I think, should be under warranty though if you are still in that range.

Riddler diff covers, Cobra 75 w/wilson antenna, Polk speakers, 10" sub, 2x Amps, Lightforce 240 drive light, backup lights, rock lights.
