Srt-8 Jk?!?!?!?!

i probably excited/messed with many of you with that title, but just curious if anything leaked out of the press about that. It would be pretty sick aslong as they don't turn it into a supercar like they did the grand cherokee (0-60 in 4.9) Where's the trail rated badge on that? lol. But yea, im sure the sticker price would be unbelievably high but chrysler has done some smart moves and dumb aswell.

p.s. do you think they'll ever go back to square lights? i'd buy one of those! YK?

I don't see why they wouldn't, they are already releasing a 2WD Wrangler, so why not drop in a engine that shouldn't even be in a Wrangler's presence?

No, square headlights are done.

even a 4.7 would be sweet in a jk. the 6.1 hemi might be a bit overkill but it would be fun.

If your idea of fun is welding driveline bits on the trail side - yes.

No Jeep should have to put up w/a 4-cyl. I feel sorry for the ones that do. Hell, I feel sorry for the 6-cylinders

But.. but... The REAL ones had I4. How could you disregard the TRADITION?

What's next - air conditioning?

Forget A/C. Make one of those gas burning heaters. They are cool. Or rather hot. Those heater will make you warm with the roof off and windshield down on a Trans-Siberian highway in February. That and a bottle of vodka per hour.

...I had been to some strange places...
