Spiderwebshade

Does anyone have a spiderweb shade for their jeep?! I just heard about them and was curious to see if it's worth it, or if anyone had issues with it. Looks pretty cool, I'm intrigued by the concept but I ALWAYS check with my friends on the jeep forum first!

Yes it's really cool, cuts down on wind noise and air flow in the cabin a bit which is nice for longer rides, and also shades really nice from the sun but you can still see through it very well. Fun product for the price.

I've had one for years. Great investment, especially if you live in a hot, sunny area. It keeps me from burning the top of my head when the top comes off. Do a search, there is lots of information available on the spiderwebshade.

I've seen a few forum posts for this alternative by trek Armor. See attached link.

Jeep - It's a Jeep thing...you wouldn't understand.
Triumph - Go your own way.

What I'm trying to ask is if the MOPAR found here:

http://www.mopar.com/part/82209928?s...=275808&b=jeep

is made by spiderweb or if not then by whom?

Thanks

John

Most of the Mopar tops are made by Bestop. Not sure about the OEM bikini.

no it is not the same. It is solid and made of soft top material not a see through shade like Spiderweb. Also hooks differently.

Sorry my link didn't work, it was to the OEM bikini on MOPAR's parts webpage.

Thank you all for your replies, this is what I was looking to learn. I now know to ge the Spiderweb.

Thanks again
