Spiderweb shade.

Any of you that have these....
Do you like it better than a regular bikini top?
It looks like it sits kinda low. I am only 6 ft tall, but looks like it would be awful close to the top of my head.
It would be nice to put it on and leave it on though.
Plus it would be nice to have some cover over the back seat.

I ordered the 4dr one based off of the comments I saw on other threads. I put it on a few days ago.

I am 5'9 and have yet to hit my head on it, but people do say its low. I like it so far, it gets the glare out of my eyes which really bothers me even with sunglasses on.

It attaches at front center, then there are ball-hooks for the two front latches for the soft top. Its too hard to latch soft top over it with those ball-hooks on, so I left them off for now. Seems to be fine without them, no weird flapping up to 45mph.

It cuts down the wind a ton. I almost feel like I have the full soft top up. I think I just need to roll with doors off more, then all will be good.

Overall I am pleased for the price, my gf and mom will like it, and ill give it a good 3 hour hwy test in a few weeks.

drove home on a 97 degree day and was dying in the heat. Then I remembered the shade, so I pulled over and installed it. What a huge difference it made and it did not make any noise from flapping even at speeds up to 80 mph. Easy to install and well worth the money!!!

SpiderWeb has the best bang for your buck. DirtyDog is a better design. Couple of long threads on the two with detailed reviews of both.

I'm a fan of the SpiderWeb....cheap, and can be put on rather quick... or left on if you prefer.

I don't think you will go wrong with either the Spider Web or the Dirty Dog. If you want cheap, go with the Spider Web. If you want the best, go with the DirtyDog.

Thats why I want something different than my best top bikini. I want something I can leave on even with my top up.
Such a delima. I didn't realize there were other choices.
UGH!

I also have the Bestop Safari, but don't like it at all..Now I have Spiderweb and DirtyDog..

As stated before the DirtyDog fits better but is more $$$. DD also has a finer mesh, looks less like a "tarp" and installs better..

My suggestion to you is to start with a SpiderWeb and go from there..(You cannot go wrong for the price SpiderWeb is charging...)
I decided to upgrade and made a fellow Jeeper very happy with my SpiderWeb....

Go for it! Love mine! Especially when the sun is beating down, and I'm sitting in traffic. Quick on/off and very functional. Hubby is 6'4" with no height issues in our TJ.

I love the spiderweb top

I haven't taken it off since I got it months ago. It doesn't flap at all in the wind and keeps the sun out of your eyes.

go buy it right now you will be more than pleased

Guess I have a different perspective. My wife and 5yr old love it, but to me it defeats one of the main reasons I bought a Jeep whcih was to get the open air feeling.
However, it does accomplish all of the things everyone has said. I'm 6' tall and had no issues with hitting the mesh even when wearing a ballcap.
