Spare tire carrier ?s

I got new tires for my 07 unlimited sahara today and I need a adapter to make my newspare tire fit on my spare tire carrier. Has anyone used this tire relocator bracket and will it work?

XRC Tire Relocator Bracket by Smittybilt-RH3

I bought 275/70/18s and had the factory 255/70/18s on there before.
Thanks for you help in advance

That will work though you don't really need to raise the mounting point as that does. Some people just use a 1-1/4' or 1-1/2" wheel spacer instead. If you can find someone to sell you just one it would probably be cheaper than the one your looking at.
RC will have them for $39 a pair on their deal of the day sometime this month.
I have a 35" tire on the stock carrier with 4-1/2" back-space wheels (no spacer) and the tire sits nicely in the bumper cut-out, this is why I say that the raising that bracket provides is unnecessary.
Either way you might also need the Daystar extended spare tire bump-stops as well.

Stock Moab 17" wheel with a BFG-KM2 35-12.50-17 tire.I'll work until I can afford a rear bumper-tire carrier.Just
let the air out of the spare, then mount your tire to the spare carrier and air your tire up.
