Soft top fitment

Folks, please forgive the newbie question here but I have a 2013 Wrangler 4 door. A neighbor has a new in the box factory top for a 2012 for $700. I live in a location with pretty harsh weather and thought about buying the top to keep for a rainy leaking day in the distant future. Are the tops (12-13) identical and is this a reasonable price? Thanks for the advice.

Great price if ALL the parts are there. Not only do you need the top but also side and rear windows, tailgate bar, tailgate bar retainer clips, and 4 piece door surrounds with 6 wing bolts.

It was all there and brand new. The guy had bought a hard top with optional soft top, removed the softy and stashed it in the attic. The windows and surrounds and other hardware still in the factory box. the top and rack folded up. $700. I'm pretty happy with that.
