So how long until the next generation wrangler...

They already have a new motor... how much longer till they switch it up again?

I already have a 2011... no sense trading in for a penatstar one any time soon il take too much of a loss so i may as well wait the years till the next body style lol.

Listening to the news a couple weeks ago, they said that Chrysler planned to change the body styles on Dodge and Jeep in '13. They did not specifically state the Wrangler though, but they did say Dodge plans to get away from the square body style on many of their products.

I believe 2013 is when the lesser Jeep models are to be replaced with new models based on Fiat platforms, The Wrangler will be around until 2016 when they'll debut the new model which will be interesting to see given the new regulations set to take hold by then.

If they go the way of the CJ. I would be expecting anything new until say.... 2047. If they Go by current standards (Yj 8 years and TJ 10 years) then it looks like the Jk is about halfway in its life cycle
