Smittybilt G.E.A.R. overhead console leak

For those of you familar with the G.E.A.R. seat covers, which are bad *** and I love in my jeep, you'd think the overhead console they produce is quality too.

Well, it is. Took me 2 1/2 hours to install and looks flawless and very practicle. Until...

The car wash. Leaked all over inside. I was worried this might happen when I installed it, you must remove the front center clamp down which doesn't allow the front center of the left roof panel to fully seat and secure. I also noticed they need to re-fab the rear tab ends of the main metal piece because the two metal hose clamps cover the screw holes where the two hand tightened screws secure the front panels in the center bar. With some manipulation, I was barely able to screw them in, although somewhat crooked and not as secure.

Bottom line, I was not pleased with console due to the above concerns and leak. Anyone else have this problem?

Thinkin' back, I wish I took some myself before I had to uninstall it to make the cab watertight again. It was one of the sharpest and practicle products made for the interior but not reliable
