When I hold down the button for 5 seconds I hear the beep and it reads off where the odometer is located. I have a 12 mw3 cod. But the 12 owners manuel does not tell you this.

I can confirm this as I have done it on my 2012. There is no way to do it in 2wd though outside of an external modification that I know of.

I've thoughly been through this with Chrysler. It was one of my biggest beefs with the 2012 model.

"Due to federal guidlines NO manaufactor will allow you to turn off ESC on a 2012 or newer model". this comes srtaight from Chrysler ( I called them and opened a ticket with customer support and had it escaleted and this was their official response). no buttons, no wheel dance or anything else will make a diffrence.

I absolutely HATE pulling into fast moving traffic and if a wheel even starts to spin the engine shuts down, rain, snow or ice IT's terrible......

HATE IT !!!!!!!!!

Awesome. I just tried it and it works for me too! I just wasn't holding it down long enough.

And for the record, I'm probably judging you for your bad grammar or spelling.
