Should this be disconnected??

So I was looking at the front of my Jeep today and noticed that a hose was hanging down. I'm assuming its supposed to be connected to the nipple above it, right?

It is the brake vacuum pump. I have no idea why the hose came off but just make sure it’s pushed all the way on and it should stay put. Give it a little tug and if it slips off easily then perhaps add a small hose clamp to it but it really shouldn’t need one.
