Seat Heaters...

Ok, the one thing I really miss from my TL is the seat heaters...

Has anyone done a seat heater installation in their Jeep? If so, that kit did you use, or if they were new seats, which seats did you use...

Thanks!!

Check Corporation. $500 installed for both front seats. Work great, wouldn't be without them.

That IP address is blocked. I choose not to go there. Do you have any other information on this?

On the other forum someone asked a question about how the heaters would work with neoprene seat covers and didn't get a response. Anybody have thoughts if would work well?

Dunno, but it's a good question...

I think they would work fine. They do not get hot enough to melt a seat cover, that's for sure. At the same time, they do get hot enough that you should be able to feel SOME heat at least.

Personally, I would rather run without seat covers and just figure that in may 5 years or something, I have to spend $500 or whatever and get the seats reupholstered.

That's what I was thinking. I ordered the seat covers but haven't received them yet. I'm not sure of the thickness but if they are like the swatches they sent me I don't think it will be a problem feeling the heat.
