saw my first JK on the road today!!

I saw a silver 2 dr rubicon on I94 tonight with regular michigan plates not an M-plate. He had the top off and I was impressed! people can say what they want but this thing looked tough. I like the TJ's looks a lot, but I think the JK looks great!

They hit certain dealer lots on Thursday or Friday. There were a number of people who had just bought a JK and brought it to Camp Jeep this weekend.

I heard that production stopped due to some bracket on the steering column which needed to be redesigned

http://forum.jkboard.com/viewtopic.php?t=241

Would have figured that would have held up JKs on the lot as well

This hasn't been confirmed, yet, either. Just a rumor at this point.

(I saw this because more informed people have denied this is the case.)
