Frame mounted are fine as long as they don't attach to the tub. The only thing about frame mount sliders is you loose ground clearance.

I don't think much about it after this incident. Haven't had doors on since April. The rockers took the hit with no worries, and only minimal damage was incurred otherwise (bent control arm, slightly bent rear axle shaft)

Last I talked to Gerald, I believe it was Wednesday (he's on his way to Utah for a race this weekend) he told me his fab guy was making them right now and they should be finished and ready for ship in the next few weeks. I already have my name on one of them

Thanks! And, sorry guys been having too much fun! Back in town until SEMA week.

I wanted to give a long term review of the Currie JK 4" suspension and Fox IFP Resi shocks.

The Currie suspension is hands down the best bolt on kit available for the JK. Super articulation while keeping the nice stock ride characteristics. The Rubicon with out turning on the rear ARB was a cake walk. The only way I can explain the Fox shocks with the Currie suspension is there are two sets of train tracks that I normally drive over to get to office. Well the 2012 JKU floats over them better than any Jeep or truck I have. I usually do around 40-45 mph.

I've had several industry people drive and ride the JKU and they cannot believe how good the ride is. The Currie 2008 JKU with King shocks is almost as good of a ride. Most JKUs with coil over shocks that I've ridden in ride no better in my opinion. If you are in the area, let me know and I'll let you compare to your Jeep.

I hope that offer extends to others as well. Youíre not out of my range and would love to take you up on that offer if I can. I donít know exactly when Iíll be able to make the trip but definitely will in the near future.

I might have it with me during SEMA. I'm bringing the KOH LJ and maybe the JKU.

Today I replaced the OEM power steering pump with PSC JK CBR pump. I was having a problem with steering lag at low speed and at time it was down right scary. It would get super hard steering until the pump built up enough pressure to drive both the steering box and ram. The new pump comes with a bracket that enables you to put the CBR pump in.

Touched up the paint where I kissed some rocks at the Rubicon.

I also had a chance to fix a bunch of the broken fender flair clips.

Tomorrow I groove the Falken WildPeak AT tires. I take pix of that.

This is all well and good, and I enjoy seeing and hearing about your builds and reviews on some products, but when are we going to see some more on your own Savvy products? I am dying to see some aluminum for the JK!
