Wheels came in while i was out of town, and my suspicion was correct...dummy didn't see the box with the rings in it.

Thanks again Gerald - you're great to work with. This won't be the last time.

Nice! I put mine on as well.

The JKU did unbelievably on the Rubicon. I didn't hook up the rear ARB (ran out of time) and never needed it as the front Detroit with the Falken Wildpeak ATs provided plenty of traction. I can only remember one time a spun a tire.

Are those just weld on sliders to the existing Rubicon rock rails? How did they work out for you?

I made a kit up so you just weld these rails up. They work really good and are not expensive. I actually got the idea from John Currie. He did this on his JKU and they have work great for the last 4 years. I definitely would have damage the lower portions on the door had I not put them on.

I'll have them available to friends and family. They are cut on the tube laser and then CNC bent. The plates are just laser cut from 3/16" sheets can't see more than $150. They are a DIY project.

I hadnít heard of a tube laser before so I just looked it up. That is one hell of a machine, wish I could afford one.

Change the oil today and that has to be the easiest job ever. The Oil filter canister on top of the engine was spill free and easy. Though the light came on at 3200 miles since the last change.

I ignore the light and change the synthetic out every 6-8k miles or so...sooner than necessary, still.

I did put a hard 1500 miles on it with a couple of hi speed long road trips and the Rubicon. They do say it is duty based. I sure would like to know how that do that!

The tread pattern is not aggressive but the compound is very good. Hopefully the MTR will be out before KOH13! We only groove them for more bite in the sand. They work well in the rocks because the compound is soft. We believe there is more natural rubber in the compound.

Interested to see these....
