Agreed, you can't expect a JK customer base to latch onto that philosophy, though. Gotta make what sells, and hopefully still offer the better alternative.

I am in bad need of this set-up (bumper and skid) for a 2012 Rubicon particularly if it is bolt on. Pricing known yet?
I will be happy to flip the disconnect and move the vacuum if needed.

Jim this bumper will not be bolt one. You need to trim the front flat plates and drill 8 holes. The bolt on bumper we are developing is still being worked on and won't be nearly clean as it has to be alot bigger to cover the front plates.

Pricing will be slightly higher than our TJ/LJ aluminum bumpers. We have to add more hardware.

Thanks,

Gerald

Any reason you chose Wildpeak's?

Aside from them being a great tire. The durability and thread compound were the reasons we ran these on our race LJ. It was a big part of the reason we won the KOH EMC. Granted we have to groove them. On a stock Jeep they work great our race LJ needed more bite in the sand so they were grooved to give us more traction to keep the front end up over the whoops.

They work really good in the rocks for a DOT tire so once we decided on a tire pressure we learned how to drive fast in the desert and rock.

When we tested tires we found them to be very durable. Taking some of the hardest hit with out flatting. I was going to run the BFG KM2 and the GY's sidewalls were proving too lightweight but with luck and perseverance we got hooked up with Falken.

We could have used any tire and Falken came out on top.

Poser shot and I could have gone higher but I need to do a little trimming as the tires were stuffing in to the fenders. The Currie Johnny Joint Suspension is the best out there. It is all figured out. Nothing is needed. The JJ's let this Jeep flex easily and smoothly. No popping of bushings or binding. With the exception of the hydro assist ram axle mount, everything on this JKU is bolt on. You maintain maxmim ground clearance because you aren't hanging any extra frame bracket and you arms are not too long that they get hung up. The mid arm OEM suspension Jeep designed is spot on and works really well. Now add stronger arms and taller springs and you have the ultimate lift kit.
