The idea is there but the implementation is difficult. I've been working on it off and on for a couple of years and we think we have the design that will hold up.

We can either do it in AR500 or 6061-T6. We have also be toying with heat treating after we to the bends and welds to 6061-T0.

Not yet! They are Safari doors. We'll start working on the upper version after SEMA. I have the Rugged Ridge Uppers that will be the ones we use. Unfortunately the Uppers cost almost as much as the doors! OEM uppers are really expensive.

the aluminum door won't need seals as long as the uppers have them. i have the tj doors

I know the rear can easily accept the uppers a couple of holes in the top rail and a bracket and we're done. The front I haven't had a chance to fully look at it. We templated these from OEM half doors but will eventually be making them for Rugged ridge uppers as they cost a lot less.
