Sahara Hemi

Hey everyone. New to the forum. Had a few jeeps in the past. Loved them all. Broke down and bought a 2007 Sahara with the 5.7 hemi conversion. This thing is unreal. I'm trying to decide on tire and wheel option. Any ideas or input would be great. Thanks!!

First of all, tell us what kind of driving you plan to do with it.
i.e. Hot-rod the streets, mall-crawling, rock-crawling, mud bogging, dune running, forest service road (expedition), etc.

Wheels are a personal choice...kinda like a tatoo.
Tires, depends on the first question.

BTW, 5.7 Hemi....

Haha yes 5.7 hemi. It's absolute monster. A place card the Jeep Speed Shop offers the kit. Comes with the wiring harness, engine, tranny, radiator, k&n intake yada yada. Honestly I was skeptical. Until I drove it. I stomp it and it buried the 100mph speedo faster than I could have ever imagined. When Iet off it took about three seconds for the needle to come off 100. I would compare it to driving a newer model mustang gt. needless to say I turned straight around and went to the bank. The rig has 15x10 pro comp extreme rims with 35x12.50 general grabber tires. Not a big fan. Don't particularly care for the look. I've been reading a little and it seems I'm gonna catch some flack on here. But I really like the black rims with the plus 4 type tires. The thin looking ones. The jeep is honestly a toy. Prob will never do any major off roading. I hunt. But I live in south Alabama. So no rock crawling and such. I'm trying to figure out how to post a few pics here so u can see what I'm working with.

You're gonna have to get some videos of it! I'm a huge fan of the Grabbers but that's just me.

And these tires?

Those are the same type of tires I run (except mine are 37/12.50/17). Great off-road, especially rock crawling. Very grippy.

I never play in mud due to an exposed air filter (RIPP Supercharger). However, I found out the other day just how great they are at self-cleaning mud, too. Finally took it thru some mud, and damn! they flung mud out of the cleats every which way, including into the cab. D'oh! Had to take it to the car wash. Cause I was taking it into the shop the next day.

EDIT: Just looked closely at those tires. Those are not Nitto Trail Grapplers. Those are General tires.
Nevertheless, great looking Sahara! Any tell-tale signs on the outside about what you have under the hood? Or is it a sleeper?
P.S. I have the same front bumper. :-)
