Rubicon Sway Bar disconnect for regular JK

Hi Forum,

I bought the MOPAR Rubicon sway bar disconnect for regular JK (see http://www.quadratec.com/products/52446_112_07.htm), but my dealer is unable to install it because the switch pod is not compatible. I am in Abu Dhabi and he says that the reason is a different wiring between the USA JK and the "international" JK. Quadratec has two different pods, and he tried both, but they both didn't work.

I have no reason to doubt him, but after being charged 2200 USD (with shipping/taxes), I'd appreciate an expert confirmation. Is there really no way to make this sway bar work? As per Quadratec, the sway bar is fully compatible with my regular JK11, which is what you would expect from MOPAR.

Thank you.

Check out the EVO manual disconnect for the rubicon sway bar. Bolts on in place of the electric motor. Turn a knob, disconnected 100% (no speed restrictions etc), turn it the other way in it is connected again.

I can't help you with you with wiring compatibility but I ditched the electric motor on my 2012 because I don't like the restrictions with the computer.

I canít help you either but if anyone on this forum could it would probably be ronjenx. He is the resident gadget guru here (my words/opinion) and he might be able to give you some advice. Just send him a PM and see what happens. No guarantees but worth a try.

EDIT: to the forum.
