rubicon springs/jku

I have a JKU X. Ive found a set of rubicon springs for cheap. I know the fronts will be an improvement but will the rear springs do me any good since I have the towing package?

Numbers on these rubicon springs are:

5212/6314AC

6800/4256AA

The numbers that matter are the last numbers. Are the numbers you posted the springs you're buying? Or the ones you have now?

What you have is a 14/56 combo whereas the max strength springs are 19/60. 14/56 is not likely to be worth the swap. Yours might already be stronger.

On my 2012 with Max tow I had 15/59. So the rear were close to the max strength, front not so much.

Do a google search for jeep jk springs. There's lots of posts on different forums that explain the spring rates in great detail.

The numbers posted are those of the Rubicon springs I'm looking at. I've not climbed under mine yet to see what the numbers are.

I don't think it would be worth it unless they're free.

Not worth it. Look at yours, probably the same or similar.

Look for some 19/60 or close.

There are no 'Rubicon' springs, all springs that come on JK's are the same, save for the spring rate as noted by the last two numbers as stated above.

It does not matter what model JK the springs come off of. The only thing that matters is the last two numbers on the tag. The springs for an S, sahara, rubicon all come from the same bin depending on their options (like tow package, hardtop, etc.)
