I have the 4 dr. kit, but I love it. I have modified it over the past year though. Not happy with the length of the shocks provided. Went with the Rancho 4 inch long arm shocks and added 1/2 inch spacers to the kit, see my sig.

I did order the lift kit the other day, but its on backorder, RE is waiting for the shocks to come in. Apparently Bilstein makes the shocks for them. I hope to have it within the next 2 weeks. The tires and wheels are here already and I'm anxious to get them on and see how it changes the look of my JK. Thanks for the comments everyone.

I've got the 3.5 Super-Flex on and it looks awesome and rides like a champ both on and off road. You should do what I did skip the wait on the Rubicon Express shocks & just go with the Bilstein 5100s. Rubicon Express shocks will take longer than they say if your experience is anything like mine.

When installing, keep an eye on the shock length. Once installed I checked and at ride height I only had one more inch of extension left before the shock maxed out. This was unacceptable to me, which is why I went with the 4" long arm Rancho shocks.

Food for thought.

def dont wait for the rubi shocks. my friend has them and has blown them out left and right. granted he wheels his pretty hard, but i wasnt going to risk it.

the bilstein 5100's are probably not like anything youre going to get on your kit, so id just scrap the shocks and pick up bilsteins as well.

they ride so nice and are worth it. just make sure you have TWO people to put them on hahah

This kit looks like it could be a winner. How hard was it to install?

The RE 3.5 superflex kit was easy to install. I think the hardest part was drilling out the front sway bar to accept the sway bar end links. I suggest getting the full kit and not the bare bones kit because at this height you will want to have adjustable control arms to adjust castor. I would also suggest buying the adjustable rear track bar as well so you don't have to deal with the relocation bracket. The best deal I found was at a Redrock 4x4, the kit wa 1649 and included the RE shocks which are rebranded Bilstein 5100s. I took that price to a 4wheelparts store and they matched the price.

Is there a way to get the lift kit without the shocks and order bilstein seperately, or do you just buy the package and not use the shocks that come with it and buy bilstein seperately? With this lift kit on my 2 door 2007 Sahara, will it be everything I need without having to make adjustments to it later?

You should be able to order a kit without the shocks and order whichever type of shocks you want seperatley. Call Rubicon express and ask them directly about your situation and they will give you some valuable insight. Shocks should be around $200-$300 for all 4
