Rubber windshield things on the hood...

So I read somewhere that those things come off real easy. Well I lost one this week in the carwash. I pulled the other one and it came off real easy. Now I like the look without them and I'm thinking about taking off the tie down strap as well. Has anyone come up with a grommet or something to fill the holes? I would like to find something I might be able to paint to match.

Let me know...

On my old vehicle I had a hole drilled for an antenna, the local hardware store had plugs you snap in place, some were chrome, some were flat black (paintable).

Good luck
