Roof light rack/ hood mounted lights...

Still trying to sort through all the JK options vs. earlier models so forgive me if this has been covered before, which I'm sure it has...

What are my options for roof mounted aux lights?

I saw hood mount brackets for cheap on eBay so now I need to find some decent lights to put in them as well...looking for something with a brush guard/cage, preferably in black. Any recommendations?

Do you have a soft top or hard top? If you have a hard top a set of Liberty Roof Light would look great!

For hood mounted, I have the KC hood bar with a Vision X light bar mounted on it.

I don't do roof mounted anymore mostly because garage clearance is already at a premium. If I'm going to give up clearance, I want to do it with a lift/tires.

If clearance wasn't an issue, then N2Rock's wife has a killer light bar setup.

And no, hood glare is not an issue with the lightbar I have, but the AEV hood hump is painted with a matte finish, so that may help.

Vette I didnt know you got the new vision x S6100.

How are they? I am considering 4 of them for my roof rack.

They are amazing. About a 500w equivalent - you can't look into them when they are on.

Well, you can look into them, but then you can't see anything when you look away for a few minutes.

I need a new harness though, because right now one side is not working. Once I get that installed and the fogs tied in, I'll post some darkness pictures.

If anyone is interested in the RockRash bar (that N2Rock's wife has), I've got a brand new one with 5 KC Hilighters on it!

I'd love a local buyer, but if I have to ship it, I can.

Just run the wiring inside the windshield channel and then into the engine bay. No need to drill at all. I'll try to get a pic later to show you. It's also easy to run wiring through the existing holes in the firewall for the switch.

Definitely, but t-ball is most Saturdays so weekends are tough. PM GE2 and I and let me know what and when you were thinking.

I'll drive up. Any of you guys going to Trailjam this year?

ge2, let me know how much you want for that thing. I've got a couple customers building up Jeeps right now. I'll see if I can help you get rid of it.

...and VetteDriver, your rig is looking badass! That thing has to have one of the highest light outputs of any Wrangler I've seen.

I paid I think 4-500 for it. I'd truly take 200. I just won't use it and would like to get it out of here.

That's a screaming deal for a bar and the lights. I'll pass it along. And if you're heading down this direction, you can drop it off here. I'll pay you that much for it and throw it on a Jeep on the lot if you can't get someone to pick it up from you.

Deal. I'll keep you posted if I come down that direction. We may be heading to Sunriver in the next month, and if we do, I can go via Vancouver.

Thanks!
