Rock Rails that fir around Sahara Step?

Im just searching some different sites and cant find a clear answer. Does anyone make a rock rail that fits WITH the factory Sahara Unlimited step???

Or will I have to break out the welder and make it myself.

Thanks

There is no rock rail that fits with the sidesteps. But you could get some rocker armor that would fit.

Not sure how you could possibly protect the sidestep. They stick out far as it is. So adding another rail out beyond them would mean sticking way out. And even still, any good hit to the underside of the step will just trash them.

Can you link me to the armor? Im pretty good with a welder so worst case I could just make a "pretty" look step myself with a built in slider. Run sme diamond plate for a stepping surface and powder coat it all black.

But id love to see the armor if you have a minute to link me? Thanks!

Why do you want something to fit with the factory steps? If you are going to wheel it in any serious manner, loose the Sahara steps and get some real sliders. N2 rock has Mopar raock rails with a step added to them...he added some ORE body armor later which looks good.

My stock steps were bending the tub from repeated rock/tree hits; I took them off last month and installed Smittybilt things. They were $260 and take a good lickin'.
