The only problem with the JK application is the lack of height on the rocker panels. Any stripe, as you show, would have to be installed with part of it on the door itself. But I do like your idea!

I wanted to go Retro but there is not enough room on the side for a shovel and pick.

I like it... I do not think it would look good on a 4dr but that 2dr JK looks Bad AZZ.. Just needs fenders..

That looks really good. Where did he get the decal set or is it a OEM set?

looks OEM, as the proportions are off for a JK.

I still like the idea very much; anyone have a contact point for one of the decal vendors on here?

and I'd still like to see someone do a better graphic mock-up than my cheesy MS paint attempt!

When I was in Moab I came across this two tone jeep safari company. Not sure if it was OEM on jeeps back in the day. But I thought it looked really good.

I tried to make mine look like a real Wrangler but in the end I could not be satisfied and sold it and bought a Wrangler TJ Rubicon.

No doubt.

Hands down the most fun I ever had jeeping was running Moab behind him. The whole group of us (9 rigs in all) wheeled all day with NO worries about which trail to take etc...

And very little about that Jeep is OEM.

The wagon should, of course, be as light as possible, but strength should not be sacrificed to lightness, for on any but the regularly traveled roads, the wagon will get many a hard knock...

I think it would look pretty good. Would definitely have to keep it to the 2 door variety though, just don't think the 4 door could pull off the retro look.
